What This Site Is

Galvestonghosttours.org is an independent comparison of the ghost tours currently bookable in Galveston. It is not a tour operator and it is not a booking platform. Five companies run the products compared here: Historic Galveston Ghost Tours, Ghost City Tours, Galveston Tour Co, BayWatch Dolphin Tours (trading as Haunted Harbor Tours) and Seg City Galveston. None of them owns, edits or pays for a place on this site.

The site does not take bookings, payments or deposits of any kind. When you click a booking link, it opens the operator's listing on Viator, tagged with this site's partner identifier. Everything after that click happens on Viator: dates, checkout, payment, confirmation and cancellation.

Affiliate Links And Price

Every booking link on this site is an affiliate link to Viator. If you book through one of those links, Viator pays this site a commission out of what the platform already collects on the sale. That commission is not added to your price. You pay the same amount you would pay booking directly on Viator with no link.

This is the only revenue the site earns. There are no display ads, no sponsored posts, no paid placements and no operator that paid for inclusion or position. Free things to do in Galveston that carry no booking link earn nothing, and they still appear where they are useful.

How Ranking Works

The order of tours on the comparison pages follows two things: review counts on the platform and how well a product fits the kind of night described on that page. No operator can buy a higher position. When two listings are close, the site says so rather than inventing a winner.

Some products are deliberately left out of the main comparison:

• bench listings that duplicate a product already compared
• mirrors of the same product sold under another name or landing page

The result is a list of distinct, bookable experiences rather than the longest possible list.

Ratings, Reviews And Prices

Ratings and review counts shown on this site are Viator's own figures for each listing, not this site's opinions. Review text quoted on the site belongs to the travellers who wrote it and to the platform that hosts it.

Prices are shown as from-prices taken from the last check of the listings. From-prices move with season, demand and promotions, so the live listing always decides what you actually pay. The same caution applies to durations and meeting details: the live listing is the authority.

Cancellation, Briefly

The listings compared here generally follow one rule: a full refund if the booking is cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time, and no refund inside that window. Weather and minimum-traveller conditions can change an outcome, so read the terms on Viator before you book rather than relying on a summary here.

Questions Or Corrections
